Richland Chambers Fishing Report for Dec. 18th, 2012

PC072297After we took a couple of days off on Monday & Tuesday to let the Cold Front pass and the Winds die down, we got back to fishing and conducted trips Wednesday thru Saturday. Cool & crisp Mornings and pleasant Afternoons were the order for the week and we got them! The fishing and catching was about as good as it gets and we finished off the week with both boats out on AM & PM trips on Saturday, and had one of the nicest December days we’ve had for a long time. We had folks taking pictures of Sunrises and Sunsets and just really enjoying the total fishing experience! We also had to hustle on Saturday as we cleaned around 300 fish for our Customers!

The BIG FISH bite is on as we continue to catch some monster White Bass, a nice Hybrid or two and a BIG Catfish on many of our trips! This will continue until we experience some serious Winter weather which normally occurs in February. As we head into the Christmas/New Year timeframe, we’ll take a few days off to enjoy the Kids and Grandkids and then be right back on the Lake to take advantage of some early Winter fishing! We have a boat open this Friday and several days after Christmas if you want to get in on the action. We also still have both boats open on Saturday, December 29th. The first week in January is wide open at this point.

Here’s hoping all is well with you and yours, and you’re gearing up for a wonderful Holiday with Family and Friends!
