What a GREAT week we had on RC as we just completed our busiest week ever in December!!! I fished Monday thru Saturday and conducted three Full Day Trips and four Half Day Trips. Adam fished four days and conducted three Full Day Trips and two Half Day Trips. Sure caught, cleaned and took pictures of a LOT of fish for a LOT of happy customers! We had a Lutheran Church Group book both boats for three Full Days in order to film an Outdoor Outreach Fishing Film highlighting the World Class White Bass Fishing on Richland Chambers. We did most of the filming in two days and then the Fishermen, Cast and Crew took Friday off to relax and do some FUN FISHING! We caught White Bass until we were tired, had a few Hybrid Stripers and topped off the trip when one of the Cameramen hooked, landed pictured and released a 50lb. plus Flathead Catfish on Friday Afternoon. (Once again, the BIG Fish came from Adam’s Boat!) The three young men in the picture are from Colorado, Indiana and Michigan and were the three Fishing Stars of the Show. We continue to catch the biggest Whites of the year as they are bulking up for Winter and an eventual Spring Spawn.
Well…the Winter weather has finally arrived today(Sunday Evening), but the warm up will begin on Wednesday and we should be back to normal fishing activity by Thursday. We are pretty much booked Wednesday thru Saturday this week, but Adam still has his boat open on Saturday Morning (December 15th). Beginning next week, we have Weekday openings much the remainder of December and still have a boat open on Saturday, December 29th. If you’d like to get in on some really good Catchin’ , give us a call or email.
Christmas is getting close and if you still need the perfect gift for the Fisherperson in the Family, give us a call and we’ll get a Gift Certificate in the mail to you. And lastly, if the weather is it’s normal Seasonal temperature, the School Christmas Break is a great time to get the Kids out of the house and on our boats!
Happy Holidays and hope to see you soon!
